U.S. President Donald Trump has denied a media report that said the United States’ objectives in the Iran conflict had not been met. “Yes, I have, and even weeks earlier than planned” Trump wrote on Saturday on his platform Truth Social. “Their leadership is gone, their navy and air force are at the end, they have absolutely no defense, and they want a deal” he said about Iran, adding that he himself does not want a deal. “Just as with their incompetent election coverage of me, the New York Times is always off” Trump continued, specifically naming journalist David Sanger and calling him “mediocre”.
