Trump Raises Worldwide Tariffs to 15% for Targeted Nations After Court Ruling, Announces New Trade Clampdown

After a U.S. court decision voided the tariffs previously imposed by President Donald Trump, the former president announced a new, higher tariff rate on Saturday. He posted on his social‑media platform, Truth Social, that, following what he called a “thorough, detailed and complete review of the ridiculous, poorly worded and extremely anti‑American decision of the U.S. Supreme Court” he would raise the worldwide tariff from 10 % to 15 % for certain countries, effective immediately.

Trump explained that the impacted countries are those that “many have exploited the United States for decades, until I came”. He added that in the coming months his administration would “set and issue new, legally permissible tariffs that will continue our extraordinarily successful process of reviving America”.
