Trump Threatens Iran with Massive Naval Armada, Demands Rapid Negotiations.

President Donald Trump warned Iran of escalating military pressure, saying a “massive armada” was on its way. The fleet, led by the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, will outsize the previous deployment to Venezuela. He described its advance as “fast, powerful and resolute”.

Trump urged the Iranian leadership to quickly return to the negotiating table, insisting a “fair and just” agreement that includes the relinquishment of nuclear weapons must be reached. He emphasized that time is limited and underscored the urgency of the situation.

The president reminded that Tehran had previously failed to secure an agreement, precipitating Operation “Midnight Hammer” an event that caused significant destruction in Iran. He threatened that a further strike would be even more devastating if Iran does not comply.

Around the year’s end, large protests erupted in Iran demanding change in Tehran’s leadership, with human‑rights groups reporting that hundreds of demonstrators were killed.
