A small airplane crashed on Saturday morning in Limburgerhof in Rhineland-Palatinate. According to police reports, both occupants of the aircraft were killed. The plane reportedly hit a property on Max-Planck-Straße around 11:30 AM. Debris from the crash is scattered across a wide area surrounding the impact site. Authorities have confirmed that, to date, there were no injured residents. The crash site has been extensively cordoned off. The criminal police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. For local residents, a support center has been arranged at the Albert-Schweitzer-Haus. Furthermore, police helicopters are currently capturing aerial photographs of the site.
