Ukraine War: Drone Attack Targets Logistics Hub

Reports indicate that several Russian-made missiles, which entered Polish airspace on Tuesday night, were likely targeting the Rzeszow logistics hub, according to sources within NATO.

The airport in southeastern Poland has become a major transit point for Western arms deliveries intended to support Ukraine since the onset of Russia’s aggression. NATO military officials stated that the trajectory of five drones suggested a potential strike against this crucial logistical center.

Dutch F-35 fighter jets, operating under a NATO air defense mission in Poland, reportedly intercepted and shot down at least three of the drones while a fourth experienced a crash.

German Bundeswehr radar systems, providing air defense for the logistics hub with two Patriot batteries, detected the drones’ intrusion into Polish airspace early on and shared the data within the NATO air defense network. However, German fire units were not engaged during the operation.
