The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution has issued a warning regarding potential violent attacks against those who hold different views, stemming from right-wing extremist youth groups. The official statement, reported by “Der Spiegel”, notes that there remains an “abstract danger” for queer individuals, people with migration backgrounds, and political opponents. This warning comes following recent raids targeting groups such as “Deutsche Jugend Voran” (DJV) and “Jung und Stark” (JS). Furthermore, members of both DJV and JS have been frequently observed attending events hosted by the neo-Nazi party “Die Heimat” (formerly the NPD) and its youth organization, “Junge Nationalisten”. During these gatherings, efforts are reportedly focused on persuading the activated members to join the party’s official structures.
