Patients treated for injuries sustained during the incident at the Berlin CSD are no longer in immediate life-threatening condition. The Charité University Hospital in Berlin reported on Sunday that eight injured individuals received treatment overnight. Currently, four patients have been discharged; however, four others remain hospitalized in intensive care, though their condition is stable. Tragically, officials state that the attack resulted in 25 deaths, including one woman.
The search for the 21-year-old suspect, Abdul B., continues urgently. He is accused of driving a small commercial van into the Tiergarten in Berlin around 10 PM on Saturday, targeting a group of CSD attendees who were celebrating. After the crash, he reportedly struck a tree and fled the scene. Authorities have since clarified that while whether he had an accomplice remains unclear, “one or more people” reportedly left the vehicle. Furthermore, reports indicate that several individuals were injured by stabbing weapons.
