Evaluation of the individual parties within the coalition reveals similar trends 29 percent expressed satisfaction with the performance of both the CDU/CSU and the SPD, while 68 and 67 percent respectively reported dissatisfaction
Should a federal election be held immediately, the CDU/CSU would currently receive 27 percent of the vote, unchanged from August The AfD is projected to reach a record high of 25 percent, gaining one percentage point The SPD would receive 14 percent (+1), while the Greens would drop to 11 percent (-1) Die Linke would maintain its current standing at 10 percent The Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht and the FDP would fall short of the five percent threshold needed for parliamentary representation, receiving 4 and 3 percent respectively
Among key political figures, Defence Minister Boris Pistorius (SPD) continues to receive the highest approval ratings, with 60 percent expressing satisfaction with his work Chancellor Friedrich Merz (CDU) currently has a satisfaction rating of 33 percent, with 62 percent expressing dissatisfaction Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul (CDU) stands at 35 percent satisfaction, with 29 percent expressing dissatisfaction and 36 percent remaining undecided
Vice Chancellor Lars Klingbeil (SPD) receives a 31 percent satisfaction rating, while 48 percent are dissatisfied Labour Minister Bärbel Bas (SPD) has a 29 percent satisfaction rating, with 34 percent reporting dissatisfaction However, a significant 37 percent of respondents remain unable to evaluate her performance
CSU Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt has a 25 percent satisfaction rating, while AfD parliamentary group leader Tino Chrupalla has a 20 percent satisfaction rating, with a substantial portion of respondents unable to evaluate their performance The Left party’s parliamentary group leader Heidi Reichinnek currently has a 19 percent satisfaction rating
