A survey by the Insa research institute for “Bild am Sonntag” shows that a year after the federal election, most German voters would still choose the same party they selected on 23 February 2025. According to the findings, 66 % of respondents say they would vote for the same party today, 16 % would opt for a different one, and 18 % remain undecided.
The loyalty among supporters of the Union is particularly strong: 80 % of CDU/CSU voters express a willingness to vote for the coalition again.
The poll included 1,003 participants and was conducted from 19 to 20 February 2026.
