Iran Fires on Two Flagged Ships in Hormuz Strait; 13 Attacks Logged Since War’s Start

Iran has again targeted several vessels in the Strait of Hormuz this Wednesday.
According to the semi‑state Iranian news agency Fars, citing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, a freighter sailing under the Thai flag was fired upon after it ignored warnings and attempted to cross the strait illegally.

A second ship, flying the Liberian flag, was likewise struck by Iranian projectiles after it also disregarded the warnings.
The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reports that since the Middle East conflict began on February 28, there have been at least 13 attacks on ships in the region – with three of those attacks occurring on Wednesday.
