Lacazette and Jazeek are at the top of the official German singles charts with their track “CDY” according to a GfK report released on Friday. For Lacazette it is the artist’s first number‑one hit; for Jazeek it marks his second, following “Akon”. The top‑five spotlights are rounded out by Zara Larsson’s “Lush Life” in second place and Taylor Swift’s “The Fate Of Ophelia” in third.
In the album charts, Harry Styles leads with his new release, “Kiss All The Time – Disco, Occasionally”. It achieved the strongest opening week in Germany in five months and became the most streamed album on its launch day since last October.
Sarah Connors follows in second place with “Freigeistin”. In third spot is H‑Blockx’s first studio album in 14 years, “Fillin The Blank”, which delivers the band’s highest chart placement to date. Kayef’s “Lieder für dich” and Roland Kaiser’s “Marathon” occupy fourth and fifth places respectively.
The official German charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Bundesverband Musikindustrie and cover 90 % of all music sales.
