Trump Signals Rapid End to Iran Conflict, Vows Heavy Strike Amid Rising Fuel Prices

In his highly anticipated televised address, President Donald Trump reiterated that the Iran war will come to an end soon. He said the Iranian regime no longer poses a real threat after the U.S. 32‑day military operation. Trump claimed that “we are on a good path to achieving all of America’s military objectives shortly” and that in the next two to three weeks the U.S. will strike Iran “extremely hard” aiming to send the country back to the Stone Age while negotiations continue.

The president repeated points he had made in recent days and addressed the sharp rise in energy prices driven by the war. He acknowledged that many Americans are concerned about the recent spike in gasoline costs within the United States, saying the short‑term increase “is entirely due to the insane terrorist attacks on commercial oil tankers and neighboring countries carried out by the Iranian regime”.
