Furthermore, Klingbeil is scheduled to accompany the Chancellor on a troop visit to the Bundeswehr training grounds in Munster on Thursday.
These seemingly peaceful images arrive following reports from a previous coalition committee meeting where Merz and Klingbeil were reportedly engaged in a heated exchange. Although the Chancellor publicly denied the conflict, Klingbeil provided an indirect confirmation when, during a press conference Wednesday afternoon, he remarked that it was acceptable “to discuss with passion” and that he would “not overvalue” such incidents.
