The German Weather Service (DWD) has issued warnings regarding severe thunderstorms expected across Southern Germany. According to the DWD announcement on Friday, parts of the states of Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria are affected.
These severe weather events could lead to several dangers, including trees being uprooted, roof tiles or other objects falling, and localized flooding of garages and streets. Hail could cause damage to buildings, vehicles, and agricultural crops, and localized lightning strikes are also possible.
The current warnings are valid from 10:05 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday. The weather service anticipates that these warnings may be extended and expanded to cover additional areas within Bavaria.
