The AfD remains ahead of the Union according to the latest ZDF Political Barometer. The survey results, published Friday morning, indicated that if a federal election were held this Sunday, the AfD would secure 27 percent of the vote-a one-point increase-while the CDU/CSU would hold steady at 25 percent.
Meanwhile, the Greens experienced a one-point decline, dropping back to 13 percent. The SPD and Linke remained unchanged, polling at 12 percent and 11 percent, respectively. The FDP continues to garner three percent, leaving the remaining parties grouped together at nine percent.
