During the recent hot weather, numerous fatal swimming accidents have occurred across Germany. According to the German Life Saving Society (DLRG), at least 26 incidents were reported over the weekend, with several additional cases occurring on Thursday. The DLRG noted that not all cases can yet be confirmed as fatalities because some individuals involved are still missing. The organization also confirmed that all victims in these incidents were male. Furthermore, other people involved in the accidents required resuscitation, and a 15-year-old was seriously injured after jumping into an excavator lake.
