Deutsche Bahn Gives Away Free Youth Train Cards to Attract Future Riders

Deutsche Bahn is launching a significant discount campaign aimed at young travelers. According to CEO Evelyn Palla, the company is providing the “Jugend-Bahncard 25” free of charge to all children and young people in Germany for an entire year. This initiative aims to make the railways accessible to an estimated 15 million young people.

This special discount period will take place from mid-June and run until the end of September. The card is designed for all children and youths aged six to 18, regardless of their nationality. While the card normally costs €7.90, it will be provided free for a period of twelve months. Palla stated that this free card is intended to help millions of young people start their summer right. (
