Drone Attack on Moscow Region Claims Deaths, Damages Oil Facility

According to Russian authorities, a person was killed in a drone attack on the Moscow region. Andrei Vorobyov, the region’s governor, announced on Tuesday that six other people were wounded.

Moscow mayor Sergey Sobyanin stated that Russian air defenses successfully shot down most of the approximately 650 drones that approached the capital during the night. The majority of these drones were rendered harmless at a great distance, while 105 were destroyed as they approached the city.

Additionally, the outlet “Kyiv Independent” reports, referencing eyewitness accounts, that an oil production facility located about 40 kilometers from Moscow was targeted in the attack.
