Ambassadors from Germany, France, and Great Britain registered a protest against Russian disinformation during their visit to the Russian Foreign Ministry on Thursday. According to reporting by Spiegel, citing diplomats, the German diplomat Alexander Graf Lambsdorff presented a formal communication, along with his counterparts Nicolas de Rivière and Nigel Casey, to Deputy Russian Foreign Minister Mikhail Galushin. This communication challenged the claim disseminated by Russian authorities that France and Great Britain were attempting to achieve a superior negotiating position regarding Ukraine by pursuing nuclear armament. These misleading assertions had been propagated by the Russian foreign intelligence service SWR and by the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Sacharova.
