A large police operation took place on Tuesday at a substation belonging to the Jänschwalde lignite power plant in Southern Brandenburg. According to multiple media reports, police discovered several explosive and incendiary devices at the site.
The Märkische Allgemeine Zeitung reported that these were self-made rockets loaded with explosives. Initially, it was unclear whether a detonation had actually occurred.
