Eintracht Frankfurt has loaned striker Noel Futkeu to SV Elversberg until June 30, 2027. As the club announced Saturday, the Bundesliga club has secured a purchase option for the 23-year-old.
Futkeu’s journey with the club began in 2023 when he moved from Schwarz-Weiß Essen. During his time with the Frankfurt U21, he scored 16 goals in 27 Regional League matches, and that same season, he had a brief appearance with the professional team in the DFB Cup. In 2024, the attacker moved on to SpVgg Greuther Fürth, where he earned the title of top scorer in the 2. Bundesliga last season. Following that, Eintracht Frankfurt successfully utilized a pre-existing buy-back option.
SGE Sporting Director Timmo Hardung commented that Futkeu exemplifies the diverse pathways through which young players can develop into professionals at Eintracht Frankfurt. He added that the striker has found promising conditions at Elversberg, providing him with a good environment to establish himself in the Bundesliga.
