Fuel prices in Germany have fallen again compared to the previous week. According to the ADAC, the average price for one liter of Super E10 nationwide is currently 1.918 Euros, which represents a decrease of 6.3 cents. Diesel prices dropped by 6.9 cents to 1.883 Euros per liter.
The ADAC notes that the decline in crude oil prices suggests further potential for price reductions. Despite a cut in energy taxes implemented since May 1st, they argue that pump prices remain too high. Over the past two weeks, the Brent crude oil price fell from over 110 US dollars to below 100 US dollars. The ADAC also criticized the fact that price reductions often take too long to be passed on to consumers.
