Heavy Thunderstorm Warnings Issued Across Germany, Potential Flooding and Hail Damage Ahead

The German Weather Service (DWD) has issued warnings against potentially severe thunderstorms across many regions of Germany. Meteorologists announced on Tuesday in Offenbach that parts of the federal states of Lower Saxony, Hesse, Thuringia, Saxony, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Bavaria are at risk.

These thunderstorms could lead to localized flooding in cellars and streets. Furthermore, the accompanying hail poses a threat of damage to buildings, cars, and agricultural crops, and lightning strikes may also be possible in various locations.

The current warnings are valid from Tuesday at 5 PM until Wednesday night. According to the DWD, there is a possibility that these warnings could be extended or expanded to include additional areas.
