Munich will host the Champions League final again in 2028, following the event in 2025, according to an announcement made by UEFA on Tuesday.
During a meeting in Thessaloniki, Greece, the UEFA Executive Committee determined the hosts for several finals. Specifically, the 2029 Champions League final will be held at the Camp Nou in Barcelona. Meanwhile, the Europa League finals for 2028 and 2029 are slated for Bucharest and Belgrade, and the Conference League finals will take place in Turin and Budapest. Additionally, the UEFA Super Cup will be hosted in Amsterdam in 2027, with the 2028 edition scheduled for Astana.
Beyond the competition schedule, the Executive Committee also approved modifications to the Nations League promotion and relegation system for the 2026/27 season. These adjustments are designed to ensure a smooth transition to the new concept, which will feature three leagues instead of four starting from the 2028/29 season.
