Hundreds of people are missing following flash floods on the Bhotekoshi River, located on the border between Nepal and Tibet. The severe flooding occurred early Wednesday morning in Rasuwa, a district north of the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu.
Details about the missing include several international visitors, such as Britons, Indians, Malaysians, South Africans, Americans, Australians, and Dutch nationals. Authorities noted that the nationality of over 100 individuals is yet to be determined.
