Nigerian and US Forces Kill Senior ISIS Commander, Trump Claims Terror Group Hit Hard

According to reports from the White House, Nigerian and US military forces have successfully eliminated a high-ranking leader of the Islamic State (IS). On his personal platform, Truth Social, US President Donald Trump asserted that the operation was carried out under his orders and significantly weakened the power of the terrorist organization.

Trump identified the slain commander as Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, whom he described as the “most active terrorist in the world” and the perceived second-in-command of IS globally. The president claimed that al-Minuki mistakenly believed he could hide in Africa, unaware that the United States possessed intelligence sources tracking his movements.

The US president also expressed gratitude to the Nigerian government for its cooperation. This current development follows earlier instances where Trump ordered military action against ISIS in Nigeria after accusing the group of persecuting Christians within the West African nation.
