The decisive goal was scored by Matias Galarza in the second minute. Following a defensive error by the Turkish side, Isidro Pitta exploited the chance to bring Julio Enciso onto the field. Enciso then delivered a pass to Galarza, who struck the ball from around 28 meters. It was an unstoppable shot for Turkish goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir, finding the bottom right corner.

Ultimately, Galarza’s early goal proved sufficient to secure the win for Paraguay and boost their chances of advancing. Consequently, Turkey is already confirmed as the last-placed team in the group due to the head-to-head comparison.
