He jokingly confessed, “I write far too many sentences involving a comma and the word ‘dass’.” Furthermore, Fitzek admitted that spelling errors occasionally trip him up. He recalled one instance where an error-“Schweinwerfer”-even made it into print. Ahead of a live reading marking his 20th-anniversary, he also shared his ultimate professional aspiration: to once have a book topping the New York Times bestseller list. Fitzek is celebrating this milestone with two live readings scheduled for August 7th and 8th.
