The Koblenz Police Headquarters reported that the ongoing hostage situation at a bank in Sinzig, Rhineland-Palatinate, involves multiple suspects and several hostages. Police confirmed that the driver of a money transport vehicle is also among those being held captive.
Regarding the scene, police stated that the situation is currently stable, but comprehensive cordon measures are in place to ensure public safety. Authorities emphasized that, at present, there is no danger for anyone located outside the cordoned-off area.
