Following the deadly incident near the Berlin CSD, the suspected perpetrator was reportedly shot and killed by police.
According to reports from RBB and Die Zeit, the suspect was killed during a police operation in a allotment garden area in Spandau. Officials stated that the operation is still ongoing, and it is currently unknown if any arrests have been made.
The attack occurred around 10 p.m. when Abdul B. allegedly sped into the Berlin Tiergarten in a small van, where CSD participants were celebrating. Recent information indicates that a total of 29 people were injured in the assault, and one woman was killed.
