Speaking on Tuesday during the G7 Summit in Évian-les-Bains, Trump stated, “Russia should make a deal.” He emphasized the devastating human cost of the conflict, remarking that both sides in the war have lost an incredible number of people, concluding that “it is crazy what is going on there.” Furthermore, Trump mentioned that he spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday and plans to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the G7 meeting.
