The 23-year-old winger initially joined St Pauli on loan in August 2023 before securing a permanent move from Crystal Palace the following summer
Banks’ playing time in his first season with the club was limited to four appearances, largely due to injury He followed this up with twelve further substitute appearances in the subsequent season
Speaking on the move, St Pauli’s Sporting Director Andreas Bornemann stated, “Regular match practice is invaluable for a young player’s development Given the strong competition for offensive positions and the fact that, due to his nationality, he is ineligible to play in our U23 team, a loan move to England represents the best opportunity for Scott to get back to playing consistently We wish him all the best in Blackpool”
