Four days before the state election a new Insa poll shows the CDU in Baden‑Württemberg just a touch ahead of the Greens. 27 % of respondents say they intend to vote for the CDU, while the Greens receive 24 %. The SPD stands at 9 %, the FDP at 6 %, the AfD at 20 %, and Die Linke at 6 %.
According to the poll, 44 % of voters expect the CDU’s top candidate, Manuel Hagel, to win the election, whereas 17 % foresee a victory for the Greens’ candidate, Cem Özdemir.
The survey, conducted online, involved 1,000 participants between 24 February and 3 March.
