After the Iranian terror threat against tourists worldwide, German security authorities are adjusting their measures. Tourism spokesperson for the federal government, CDU politician Christoph Ploß, told “Bild” that security agencies are particularly vigilant in light of the situation in Iran. They keep a close eye on popular tourist areas and tailor their actions to the current circumstances, doing everything possible to protect people in Germany-whether they are residents or visitors.
He also emphasized that Iran jeopardizes global safety: “The Mullahs should know that we will not let their threats undermine the way of life and open society that we enjoy”.
