RB Leipzig secured a 3-1 victory against Eintracht Frankfurt in the 30th matchday of the Bundesliga. The visiting side from Saxony took the lead in the 27th minute through Yan Diomande, who scored with a composed low shot into the right corner following a pass from Klostermann. However, Frankfurt responded quickly; in the 34th minute, Hugo Larsson equalized with a header after Amaimouni-Echghouyab chipped the ball into the center.
In the second half, Leipzig was the dominant team. Antonio Nusa put the hosts ahead again in the 70th minute. After receiving a pass from Finkgräfe, Nusa unleashed a shot from distance, taking advantage of an error by Frankfurt’s goalkeeper, Zetterer. Just eleven minutes later, Conrad Harder sealed the win with the 3-1 goal. Harder was set up near the five-yard box following a dribble by Nusa, and he scored with a turn.
Although Frankfurt pushed hard to draw level, their attack was largely lackluster. Despite efforts from Knauff and Uzun, Frankfurt struggled to seriously threaten the Leipzig defense. With this win, Leipzig secured important points in their race for Champions League spots, while Frankfurt continues to fight for participation in a European competition.
