In the sixth matchday of the Bundesliga, FC Bayern Munich secured a dominant 6-1 victory over RB Leipzig. The Munich side took control of the match from the outset, applying intense pressure on the Leipzig defense using high pressing and swift combination play.
Bayern quickly established their lead in the first half. Luis Diaz opened the scoring in the 12th minute, capitalizing on a precise pass from Joshua Kimmich. Pavlovic doubled the advantage in the 26th minute, following an attack initiated by Diaz. Michael Olise cemented the three-goal lead in the 34th minute after a double pass involving Harry Kane.
Despite the halftime interval, Leipzig struggled to find any effective way to challenge the dominant Bayern lineup. Diaz made his second goal of the evening in the 47th minute with a well-placed shot. Just six minutes later, Harry Kane increased the scoreline to 5-0, having been set up by Daniel Brown inside the box. Diaz perfectly completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute, scoring in the 6th minute of the half after a corner kick.
RB Leipzig had little opportunity to mount dangerous offensive threats throughout the game. Maarten Vandevoordt kept Leipzig’s chances of a higher deficit at bay with several crucial saves. In the dying minutes of the game, Leipzig managed to register one goal, as Andrija Maksimovic took advantage of the weakening compactness of the Bayern defense and scored in the first minute of injury time, bringing the final scoreboard to 6-1.
