Jens Teutrine, a member of the FDP’s party executive, has publicly called upon FDP European politician Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann to immediately end her disagreement with the new party chairman, Wolfgang Kubicki, regarding the party’s direction.
According to Teutrine’s remarks to the “Rheinische Post” the FDP cannot hinder its own comeback. He argued that Strack-Zimmermann should not be acting as a public commentator for Wolfgang Kubicki right now, but rather should contribute to the party’s shared success. Teutrine emphasized that all freedom-minded individuals, both inside and outside the FDP, should stand united behind Wolfgang Kubicki and his team. He stressed that the FDP requires more than just a single voice; it needs an entire “orchestra of freedom” playing in the same rhythm, reflecting the sentiment of the former leader of the Young Liberals (Julis).
Teutrine concluded by stating that after the recent party conference, no one can dispute that the FDP is still active. He asserted that whether the outcome is success or failure remains squarely in the party’s own hands.
