Finch Dominates German Album Charts, Retains Number One Spot

The rapper Finch, who hails from Brandenburg, has held onto the top spot of the official German album charts with his release, “Aussenseiter Spitzenreiter.” This was reported by GfK on Friday. Madonna’s “Confessions II” and Deep Purple’s “Splat!” are directly following him in the top rankings with their new albums.

In the single charts, the global soccer World Cup hit “Dai Dai” by Shakira and Burna Boy continues to dominate the number one spot. The other top positions remain consistent with the previous week, featuring Kitschkrieg, Blumengarten & Shirin David (“Gut genug”) in second place, and Summer Cem & Billa Joe (“Killy Manjaro”) taking third. Additionally, the “Ghetto Superstars” Capital Bra & Samra have made the biggest debut of the week, landing at position five.

German charts are determined by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the German Music Industry Association (BVMI) and are designed to cover 90 percent of all music sales. The hit lists are based on sales and usage data collected from approximately 2,600 retailers and outlets across all distribution channels, including physical stores, e-commerce providers, download portals, and streaming platforms.
