The American singer-songwriter Alex Warren tops the official German album charts with his album “Wildchild,” according to data released by GfK on Friday. Previously, his debut album “You’ll Be Alright, Kid” spent 77 weeks on the charts and achieved a seventh-place ranking.

Taking second place in the album charts is the Mexican sister trio The Warning with their latest release, “Everything’s Falling.” Their entry makes them the first Mexican girl band to reach the hit list. The third spot is occupied by the South Korean boy group Stray Kids with their album “This & That.”

In the single charts, Shakira and Burna Boy continue to lead the way with “Dai Dai.” Following them are “Movin’ To The Sun” by Hugel, “Imael Angel & Ultra Naté,” and “Mo’ Money Mo’ Haters” by Summer Cem & Shirin David.

GfK Entertainment determines the official German charts on behalf of the German Music Industry Association, covering 90 percent of all music sales.
