Late Monday evening, a vehicle reportedly drove deliberately into a group of people in Neustadt am Rübenberge, near Hanover. According to police reports, up to five individuals were injured, though they are not currently in mortal danger.
Multiple media sources confirm that police officers opened fire on the vehicle involved in the incident. Nevertheless, the suspect or suspects managed to escape on foot. The initial search for the individuals proved unsuccessful.
