Brantner Pressures Eralp to Deliver Concrete Action Against Extremism in Berlin

Franziska Brantner, the head of the Green party, has urged Elif Eralp, the politician from the Left party, to take decisive action against extremism should she become the potential head of the Berlin government. According to the “Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger,” Brantner pointed out that Eralp had publicly committed to ensuring the safety of all Berliners and consistently countering violence and terrorism while serving as Governing Mayor. Brantner emphasized that Eralp would need to justify these promises through her actions, “first and foremost regarding her own party and faction.” Meanwhile, following the Green party and the Social Democrats, the Left party also voted this weekend in favor of including coalition negotiations in Berlin. These negotiations are scheduled to begin in the coming week.
