Emergency services responded to a residence in Hamburg-Barmbek-Nord on Tuesday afternoon, discovering a deceased woman and a man with serious injuries.
Police in Hamburg confirmed that the man was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly afterward. Officers found the body of the 21-year-old woman and the injured man at an apartment on Lorichsstraße at approximately 4:09 PM.
The homicide squad has taken over the investigation, working in conjunction with the public prosecutor’s office. Preliminary findings indicate no evidence of involvement from a third party. Investigations are ongoing.
