A hacking group has released nearly six terabytes of data belonging to the Berlin state administration onto the dark web. Among the leaked information are highly sensitive details. A total of 1,439,893 files were published, including a folder titled “AG CBRN-Rahmenplanung,” which contains information related to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear hazards. The Berlin Senate had previously rejected the ransom demand of 30 Bitcoin, valued at approximately two million euros, set by the hacking group. After the deadline passed, the data package was released in the dark web. Members of the hacking group disseminated lists of file names on social media, demonstrating the scope of the attack. Furthermore, the leaked data includes personal information belonging to state officials, such as birth certificates, phone numbers, and residential addresses.
