Simultaneously, the city of Berlin hosted multiple pro-Palestinian demonstrations. These protests highlighted the casualties in the conflict, reminding attendees that the Israeli military response following October 7 has led to the deaths of over 70,000 people in the Gaza Strip.
The Berlin police were deployed in large numbers across various locations to manage the simultaneous political events.
