Investigators involved in the drone incident at Leipzig/Halle airport have reportedly discovered DNA traces on the device, which was filled with explosives. According to the newspaper Bild, this secured DNA matches the sample recovered from the arson attack that took place at the DHL logistics center in Leipzig on July 20, 2024. Consequently, the investigation is now focusing on establishing a connection between the two separate incidents and identifying the perpetrator. The drone, which was found near a Ukrainian Antonov cargo plane at Leipzig airport last week, did not cause an explosion. The investigation remains ongoing.
