Federal Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt (CSU) has issued a warning regarding the escalating protests in France, specifically alerting the public to a potential alliance between left-wing extremists and migrants. Dobrindt told the newspaper “Bild” that if people fail to clearly recognize that leftist extremists and a migrant milieu are gathering on the streets to wage a joint campaign against the democratic system, they have fundamentally misunderstood the situation.
The minister strongly condemned the violence associated with these demonstrations. The CSU politician stated that those who transform streets into battlefields, attack police officers, and burn down municipal buildings are not demonstrating in favor of improved education; rather, they are engaging in an armed assault against the free society and the established way of life.
