Frankfurt Tops HSV 3-1; Ilicevic Sets Bundesliga Youngest Player Record

Eintracht Frankfurt secured a 3-1 victory over Hamburger SV to conclude the eighth matchday of the Bundesliga.

The Hessen squad took an early lead when Warmed Omari slotted a sharp cross from Chaibi into his own net in the 10th minute. The Hamburgers, however, reacted quickly, with Terem Moffi leveling the score in the 14th minute following a skillful pass from Grönbäk.

After the break, Frankfurt reasserted their control. Raphael Onyedika scored in the 47th minute after Heuer Fernandes failed to clear a header from Brassier. The decisive goal came in the 69th minute, scored by Younes Ebnoutalib, who capitalized on a rapid counter-attacking move initiated by Uzun.

Offensively, Hamburger SV struggled throughout the match, rarely managing to put sustained pressure on the Frankfurt defense. The Hanseatic team only generated a few decent chances during the final phases of the game. Eintracht, conversely, played with great attacking spirit and seemed capable of scoring even more goals. In stoppage time, the team introduced Niko Ilicevic, which tied him for the record for the youngest player in Bundesliga history, alongside former Dortmund player Youssoufa Moukoko.
