Telling the “Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland,” Bobga stated he had no understanding for the decision made the previous day. He argued that the people of Berlin currently have hopes for an affordable standard of living under an R2G coalition-a partnership between the Linke, the Greens, and the SPD-and asserted that the Greens and SPD must fight for this potential coalition. Bobga further urged the Berlin Greens to immediately resume the ongoing negotiations. Finally, he advised the national Green party to refrain from any further commentary, insisting that such statements only served to complicate the situation.
