On Wednesday morning, police conducted raids across several cities in response to suspected members of the far-right groups “Deutsche Jugend Voran” and “Jung und Stark”. According to reports from SWR and the ARD-Hauptstadtstudio, the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office has accused both groups of forming criminal organizations. The search operations took place in several cities in North Rhine-Westphalia and targeted ten suspects, all of whom are German citizens. It is also reported that one of the accused individuals was already detained in custody regarding a separate matter. These measures covered eight cities and were primarily aimed at the group “Jung und Stark”. The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution was also involved in the investigation. In the context of rising extremism, violent offenses committed by very young neo-Nazis-especially during attacks on Christopher Street Day parades-have increased since 2024. Furthermore, the Federal Criminal Police Office advised in mid-2025 that new youth groups within the far-right scene are increasingly appearing through organized events, disruptive actions, and criminal offenses.
