Burke’s Hat-Trick Sinks Frankfurt in Bundesliga Thriller

Sunday’s opening fixture of the fourth Bundesliga matchday saw Eintracht Frankfurt succumb to a narrow 3-4 defeat against Union Berlin in a captivating contest. Oliver Burke emerged as the standout performer of the match, netting a hat-trick for the visitors.

Despite a lengthy period of added time, Union Berlin successfully defended their lead and secured the win.

As a result of this defeat, Frankfurt slips to sixth place in the league standings, while Union Berlin advances to tenth. Frankfurt’s next challenge sees them travel to Mönchengladbach on Saturday, while Union Berlin faces Hamburg SV the following day.
